This book has so much great information that any violin beginner must know to progress. It has refreshers in theory (if you've already played music) or is a great intro if you have not. lots of practical knowledge ie.- use open or stopped string. and of course lots more. plus - codes you can shoot with your fone that lead right to videos on the subject. high tech learning for an ancient instrument. how cool is that?

If you want to learn or relearn it helped me so much... I've started playing again since i stopped 4 years ago and it helped me remember the concept and understand things i never understood...

Have followed the first 6 YouTube lessons, which have helped greatly, the book will help me to achieve what I didn't think was possible, very clear and understandable.
