Bought this after finishing lesson 20 of violin course, to pratice for the next months before moving on to 3rd position. Easy to learn by heart, easy to play as a beginner, yet complex to realise the ''perfect'' tone and sound professional. Really helps with practicing fingerings and perfectioning tone to move to a better violin playing level. I love it.

Very easy to follow. Has tips on what to do on each page and is easy to read. Don't worry if you haven't read sheet music before and don't know what abbreviations are, she's written in plain English how to play!

Loved Simply Gypsy

As an adult violin learner at an absolute beginner stage, I find Simply Gypsy songs very achievable :-) Some are easier and others are quite challenging but all of them are really beautiful, and they all do have a sense of a Gypsy soul which I love. Every song has a video tutorial, which is very helpful. I recommend this book and I'm looking forward to get other song books in the near future. Thank you Allison!

I have always wanted to play the violin. I got lucky one day and found Alison on YouTube. I love how she makes learning to play easy with her online tutorials. I watched her play one of the gypsy pieces from her book and had to have it!
