I'm an adult beginning violin player and I've been learning to play on my own. I look at several YouTube channels, but yours is my favorite. The careful explanations, attention to detail and obvious hard work (product reviews are really good too) make it better than any of the others (which are all pretty good). I wanted to play something other than twinkle twinkle (you know what I mean) and I bought your books. Haven't mastered them yet but they are just what I was looking for. Thanks for what you're doing.

I have been following Allison on youtube for a while. I don't think I would have bought the individual books, but as a package, I think it is worth it. It is a nice introduction to different style and keep the motivation up!

by my oppinion individual books doesnt worth 10$ but whole package with discount realy worth every peny. I am complete beginer and I am managing to make progress with this music. Its realy simple and sound great. I would recommend to every violin beginner!

Bought these last night. Excellent value and a great resource - just like the site - for the older "new" players. Violin is my first instrument, at 49, and I am thrilled to have found Alison's YouTube videos and books (4 weeks in). I am going to have fun learning these tunes ... so much more so than with children's classics. I may even be able to take some of them with me to jam with my musical friends, once I gain some confidence and skill. Thank you!

I found Alison on youtube and loved her violin lessons! I decided to take up violin as an adult because I didn't have the opportunity as a kiddo. I ordered this book not only to support her but to learn some basic tunes. The variety is outstanding and so much fun! The youtube tutorials on each song are extremely helpful to not only teach you how to play it but to hear what it sounds like so you know when you are a bit (or a lot ) off! Thanks Alison for all your help! My dream of learning violin is coming true :)
