I play the violin for 6 months and these pieces are all managable for me. So I can totally recommend this book by Alison for all beginners.

Thoroughly recommend to any one who is considering playing through the festive period its simple in its delivery and very effective, I only started this year and have found this to be a treat. A good spread of tunes to suit all tastes. The transaction itself was faultless. Thanks

Christmas hits Volume 1

The download of the booklet and mp3 backing tracks went very smooth. The booklet is very easy to understand, personally I try to use the music instead of TAB, but I learned on music centuries ago, LOL, so I am trying to stick with it, all said I would recommend this to everyone. Very nicely done and well thought out!

I'm new to the violin and can't wait to play a song or two this Christmas Eve when my family sings Christmas Carols! I printed out every page, put the front & back covers in plastic sheet protectors, punched 3 holes in them, and tied red ribbon loosely through the holes so that it can fold flat when I open it, or flip around to have only one page showing. I made it into a real live book, lol! The tabs are SO useful in learning. I pretty much have Silent Night and The First Noel almost memorized already. Thank you, Alison, for your patience and hard work, and for sharing your knowledge and talent with those of us who are just starting out on our musical journeys. <3

I'm an adult beginner - have played for less than a month - and I was playing Christmas music! I'm so glad I found Alison's YouTube channel. I definitely recommend this book.

Great Easy to Follow Book and music

Selection of music is just right for beginners/intermediate players as they are very well known pieces. Tab helps to find any notes you might be confused on the music sheet. Backup music is a big plus. Already practicing with my twin girls for our private show this Christmas.... Thanks

Alison has done it again! The backing tracks are fantastic and of course, her playing is perfect. The music is easy to learn and play the way Alison has painstakingly written it with tabs and traditional notations. I can't wait to play a few of these songs for my family, come 25 December. It was money well spent. Well done, Alison! Thank you!
