Challenging

Ok first 2 are quite easy, but March lifts the bar quite much. Maybe I just need to think somehow different. Usually I see music as a patterns and waves? But that's with guitar. Other hand. I never studied music notes so I have to also learn them at the same time. But I like challenges...

The first few songs are great for practising fingering placement and bowing. All the pieces have been great for me as a beginner

Violin and Piano

I am using Alison's books and lessons for both violin and piano for my 4 kids! I do have a bit of background in music, but even so, I think anyone would find it simple enough to learn a new instrument (violin is new for me) without any background in music. Appreciate it that it is affordable,...otherwise violin lessons would never be an option for myself or my kids! THANK YOU!!!!!

Just. Started Song Book 1 as a beginner, so far so good. The book is designed to move learners at an acceptable pace.
