As a beginner piano player I must say I found this book really easy to understand and follow. I would recommend this to any aspiring piano player!

I found the videos on YouTube and the teaching technique I found was best so far. It is almost like learning in person. I knew the basics so I was able to cover up to Lesson 6 very quick and the exercises from Lesson 7 are great and helps a lot. Thank You. Ishan.

After looking at different video clips on the internet I have found this one very clear to understand for a complete beginner. Alisons teaching is very clear and with purchasing the book along with the videos on U tube I can go through the different sections at own my pace. I still have a long way to go but it can only get better by practice. Thanks Alison

Bought this in hopes of it being basic no nonsense instruction. Got it. Exactly what I wanted. Love the exercises and being able to watch the lessons on YouTube. Thanks Alison I look forward to Book 2.

I'm slow learner, still working on C Major (simultaneous two hands) but am confident and then move to next lesson4.

I found that "Learning To Play The Piano Book 1" was Excellent choice. It's having her words and teaching available to you at all time, Especially, if your internet goes down during a storm. I Highly recommend "Learning To Play The Piano Book 1" to anyone that wants to learn to play Piano.

I am currently working through Learn the piano book 1 and am very happy with my purchase. As a complete beginner I have to commend the way the book is written. Everything is written simply with good exercises making it very easy to absorb what you are learning. I would definitely recommend this download.

I love this book I'm a total beginner and it helped so much. Now I just need a book from you what teaches me how to read notes.

The book assumes you have no idea how to read notes and how to play piano. This suites me well because It is exactly my case - I just decided to learn playing piano and looked for a good starting point. With this book I found it! I especially love the exercises which are slowly getting harder moving me forward in my playing skills. Combined with the free youtube videos, this material is the best start I could have chosen. Although, sometimes frustration comes to me when I think I am playing well and after seeing videos of Alison playing I realise I played twice as slow as her :) Also, there is one tine detail about this book I love. Rarely, there is a note letter missing below a note. Even though this indicates the note is the same as the one in previous bar, still I stop playing thinking what that note is. It always put a smile in my face when I realise that this does not only indicate the note is the same, but also forces me to try to remember the note letter based on its position on the staff. Summarised, Alison clearly knows what she is doing and I send thousands thanks to her getting me into piano playing with love and passion.
