I found the books easy to follow and well written. A lot of effort obviously was taken in preparing the course material. I would highly recommend the books for any aspiring beginner looking to learn piano.

Until 2 years ago I had never played any music instrument. Neither did I have any understanding of notes, staffs or chords. At that time I found Allison's 10 Youtube piano lessons from which I learned a lot and also purchased some piano books of Kenneth Baker that she advised in her presentations. Over the last few months I was not progressing very much and noticed these new lessons, now with addition of the pdf text books and started again from the beginning. Currently I am doing the exercises over and over in Book#1. The books are written in a very clear way and the presentations on Youtube are very inspiring and motivating.

Hi I am a 63 year old male wanting to learn to play the Piano. I'm sure most readers reading this review have the same interest. I totally recommend this product. The instant I paid via credit card, the download link was emailed to me. I had the download in a matter of a couple of minutes. After reviewing the material after I printed it, I felt like a totally satisfied customer. I am taking Piano lessons in the local Missouri, USA area. I have 2 piano instructors now. Allison in the UK and Russ (in person) in Missouri. I see a lot more of Allison because of her YouTube videos I can play over and over.

I have only recently begun learning musical instruments, at the age of 55. I've followed a few of the violin videos, and printed out the music sheets to practice. When I decided to add keyboard, I went back to The Online PIANO and Violin Tutor! I love Alison's piano lessons as well! I was delighted to purchase this set of books to supplement the video lessons on YouTube, and very happy to support a teacher whose lessons I appreciate tremendously.

When you consider all the free YouTube lessons that cover every bit of these books, they are a very good value. Most online piano lessons charge you by the month, but I like only having to make a one-time purchase. And I love the QR codes that take you right to the right spot in the videos. Miss Alison is a wonderful teacher, and I like her original music, too. She avoids the silly nursery songs that most piano method books start you off with. I want to learn classical music, and you get to play some simple classical pieces with the very first songbook. I took piano lessons for a year or so some 15 years ago, but I'm afraid I'm very rusty since I've hardly played since then. I can no longer afford private lessons because they've more than doubled in price in my town since then, but I believe with Miss Alison's lessons I can do everything I did before and more.

As a 'lapsed' piano player who hasn't touched a keyboard in 35 years, I was looking for a teaching system that would slowly but surely refresh my skills and help bring me up to the level I reached all those years ago. This methodical approach is not only hugely enjoyable, but also very clever in that the theory side of music (which I always found very boring!) is cleverly introduced alongside the piano teaching. I have loved every minute of this teaching method, and am looking forward to moving on to also revisiting my violin skills through another of Alison's courses. Thank you so much, Alison - I thought I would never be able to play to the same standard after 35 years away from music, but you have made it so easy and enjoyable. I can't thank you enough.

I have purchased the complete collection of 'The Online Piano Tutor', and I am very pleased with my purchase. The course books are clear, well presented, and explains everything in a easy to understand manner. In conjuntion with the online video tutorials this course is hard to beat.
