Learn To Play The Piano Book 1 | (Download Only)

On a visit to Utube accidentally found this video Learn To Play Piano by Alison M Sparrow. I liked what I saw and followed the directions to d/load Book 1. Now after a couple of weeks I am happy to say I am very pleased I did.The small investment is nothing to get started and future tuition in Books 2,3, and 4 are available when I'm ready I am very long in tooth at 80 + but if this young lady can help me to be able to read notation and play to any standard I believe she will have well and truly achieved.

I am a beginner and was able to understand it very easily. The book together with your youtube videos will help anyone learn the Piano quickly and perfectly. Thanks for this online teaching website.

I did have some piano lessons in the late 70s and early 80s but never learnt the notes nor grasp the music well enough I'm now nearly 50 and thought i would like to learn properly. The book is well presented and reasonably priced,the text is clear with large music scores, numbering and note letters are a big help especially when trying to play with both hands, there is a gentle introduction to the theory and practice especially when you reach the practice pieces; i have progressed quickly with this book; Allison has that natural ability to teach despite having many years of being a musician I'm glad i came across her, her youtube videos are brilliant and well thought out and structured but she could do with some overhead contraption to mount her camera above her piano a bit cumbersome sometimes. Nice one Allison keep up the good work looking forward to moving on to book 2.

This has been a great guide for a person starting to learn the piano, especially for an adult who has never played a musical instrument before.

I am a complete beginner but am thoroughly enjoying learning to play the piano. The lessons are clear and uncomplicated and broken into comprehensible sections. I’m doing little but often as that suits me best.

I am an absolute beginner to piano and this book gives me hope that it is never too late to learn. The layout is easy to follow, well written and simply a pleasure to learn how to play a piano. Thank you Alison for writing the book! Looking forward to working through every book in this series.

The perfect accompaniment to the utube videos. I find this book and video are wonderfull and make learning the keyboard extremely enjoyable and by far the easiest method of learning I have ever seen. 5 star product. Congratulations I wish you every success

Takes you from the basics you learned at school but have forgotten an allows you to learn at your own pace. Happy I made this purchase.
