    Absolutely loving it !!

Posted by Boggy Marsh on 29th Oct 2016

This is a fabulous tutorial and I'm absolutely loving it. Easy to follow, well written and very enjoyable. I can't recommend it highly enough. I'm a self-published author and do my own water-colour paintings as illustrations, play a bit of guitar and write my own songs, some of which are on YouTube. Learning to play the piano seems a natural next step, at least to me. As of 29/10/2016, I'm 66 years old.

    Good one for beginners

This book is the best one. I am 37 years old. I was looking for "let it go" song by piano on youtube and I found yours piano lesson video. I went through all of yours video and decided to buy this book. By watching your videos on youtube and with help of your well written book, I have started learning how to play piano. My first piano song will be "let it go" and that will be a gift for my 4 years old daughter .....:)

    Good Book for Beginners

Posted by Abhishek khare on 30th Sep 2016

I have recently started using the book for myself and my daughter. The book along with the video's seem to be a very good starting point for learning Piano basics. I would recommend the Allison to either use an assistance or some camera mount point, so she can use both her hands in all videos. Overall very satisfied with 1st book, hoping the second one is equally good.

    It looks great!

Posted by Unknown on 21st Sep 2016

Well the book looks great, it is easy to follow, especially with the help of youtube videos. I am an ABSOLUTE begginer on the piano, but I can see that a LOT of effort went in making this, so very happy that you can still get quite a lot for a resonable price! I hope you continue this way!

    Perfect Beginning

Posted by Steve on 30th Mar 2016

I played the violin in high school but that was a long time ago. Now with a new 61 key keyboard I am having great fun learning how to play. The biggest challenge is associating the notes I read with the appropriate keys on the keyboard. I force myself not to look at the keyboard so I can learn by the correct sound and feel. Reading the bass clef is very confusing for me since I only used the treble clef before. It helps a lot to have the videos for each exercise so I can double check my timing and fingering.

    The best all around

The best I've found, having the links to the video demonstrations by the actual author is what makes this work so well. Keep up the great work Alison!!!

    FINALLY!!!!

Posted by Rollo on 29th Feb 2016

A truly great approach using video, audio, diagrams and the written word to give the beginning student of piano a truly great launching pad from which to start learning how to play the piano. I also play the violin and have used many of Alison's You Tube videos on the violin to aid me with that. I have ordered several things from her in the past and always found them to be everything she said they would be. A job well done Alison and look forward to learning the piano with your instructional material.

    excellent for beginners

Posted by Unknown on 12th Feb 2016

Is has the right amount of the theory needed for a beginner and focuses in building separate technical skills for both hands. The progression of difficulty is smooth, but it is expected that will be increased, especially in the latest exercises.
