I've always wanted to play violin, and decided to learn at home due to Covid-19. Finding this YouTube channel and website convinced me it was possible. It's obvious that Alison is an experienced instructor because the materials are well organized, easy to follow, and best of all totally comprehensive. Every random question that I've had so far- there is already a YouTube video from her. I love that I can set my own pace and work on the exercises, but if I want to look ahead it's easy to watch the next video and then find my place again. The instructional booklets and the YouTube videos link to each other so you're never at a loss. They're also a clean format and it's easy to print the songs and exercises. I previously tried buying some Kindle sheet music and instruction books that were so badly formatted I couldn't read the music. I was also very pleased with the price, since in-person instruction from someone this experienced is incredibly valuable. While I work on the basics my next step will be Patreon membership to access the extras and sheet music - I think she's mentioned hundreds of songs available at this point. All in all, 100% satisfied, totally pleased!

I purchased the complete violin set. This is amazing and worth every penny. If you want to learn violin at home and learn at your own pace this is what you need. You will not be sorry.

Follow her lessons on her YouTube Channel and use these downloads along with them. LISTEN to her when shes says, "You need to know this before continuing on!". You will thank yourself later in the lessons.
