Learn To Play The Violin Books 1 - 3 | COMPLETE COLLECTION (Download Only)

I am a total novice and finally decided to get a bit serious about playing. This is an easy to follow, easy to understand why, well explained series of books, videos and sheets for practice. THANK YOU from someone with out time to run to practices, and with sporadic schedule to learn to do something I have always wanted to do.

Mature learner to violin and music in general. I've been following the YouTube videos 1 - 10 and progressing into the books was a natural choice. Long road ahead for me, but the contents and delivery are very straightforward and every little improvement is it's own reward. I only recently started to watch Alison Sparrow's YouTube videos on playing the violin. I play the guitar, clarinet and piano (a little bit) but was told by my cousin who plays the violin that it is the hardest instrument to play and to stick to the guitar. Well, that made me want to play the violin even more. I was happy to find Alison's YouTube channel. She suggested the song book I but only after viewing lessons 1-10. I bought the book even though I am only at lesson 6 now. So far, so good. I think it was a good purchase. I like the fact that the songs in the book are linked to videos that Alison has made. They can be heard as she demonstrates by playing the song. I think it is a great concept. I can't wait to get to that point where I can access the songs in the book. She is a very gifted teacher and she has found a follower in me. I don't think I will be giving up on the violin. So far it doesn't seem to be giving me any problems. I will definitely be buying more of her publications in the future.
